“Matt has a great talent for identifying the arcs, contrasts, and nuances within a text, and skilfully pushes his actors to best serve those moments.”Ben Barrington (The Almighty Johnsons, Shortland Street)

“Matt has a natural insight into character, and knows how to make every moment as important for the actor as it is for them.”Rachael Blampied (Shortland Street, Dirty Laundry)
